A Daily Ritual: The Bujo

A beneficial element of my art practice is my “Bujo” or Bullet Journaling. Each morning, I sit down with coffee and an array of markers to play with a drawing meditation, pen my thoughts and map out the day.  It’s become a meaningful daily ritual and I feel it’s important to introduce the journals as they are critical to my processes.  Enjoy!

A random sampling from the collection.

Here are a few examples from a recent road trip to the Southwest which help illustrate a few ways I use my Bujo’s:

If you’d like to play around with Bullet Journaling (or any kind of journaling), here’s a link.  It’s a fun, easy (free) system and has really helped me navigate both my internal and external worlds…not an easy task, lol!
